“We were looking for a good and suitable alliance for our daughter Hemapriyanka since two years. We sought the help of our relatives and friends for an alliance, but nothing materialized. Then, I registered with Kalyanamalai and we participated in the TV program of Kalyanamalai while we were in Bangalore. As my daughter is a software engineer, we wanted a software engineer with an MS degree. At our first meeting itself, we were impressed with Mr. Mohan’s approach and his way of talking. He instilled a lot of confidence and hope in our minds. We firmly believed that our daughter’s marriage would be settled soon with the help of Kalyanamalai. We had registered with another matrimonial also apart from Kalyanamalai. But, there was no proper response and we lost faith in it. Initially, my wife was hesitant to allow our daughter to appear in the TV program. But, I made her understand its worth and assured her that it would help us surely. True to our expectation, a relative of our son-in-law, who watched the program, contacted us and initiated the alliance. Our son-in-law Sankar Raja is also an engineer; he is an EEE, MBA. The wedding was celebrated with all grandeur on 13th December, 2009 at the Malar maaligai thirumana mandapam at Madurai. One thing, I can never forget till date. I am unable to find words to express our elation when we left the shooting spot for the Sun TV program because we felt jubilant as though our daughter’s marriage was already over. The name Mohan is a synonym for confidence. The services of Kalyanamalai should be perpetual,” the father of the girl said in an emotive tone.
