As my first marriage was not successful, I was fully frustrated and not interested in second marriage though my parents were insisting me to. I spent lot of time in visiting temples, fasting and thinking of the all pervasive almighty. When my parents asked about my consent for marriage, I simply told them that there is not guarantee for the success of marriage. So it is better to keep quiet and remain single.
My dad didn’t leave his effort. He was sincerely searching for a groom since three years. He use to watch Kalyanamalai program in Sun TV. By paying just Rs. 2,500/- I registered with Kalyanamalai at the Coimbatore branch. I was fed up and told my parents that even if my second marriage turn out to be futile, then I shall end my life. My parents took great efforts in convincing me. My brother pacified me with consoling and comforting words. With in two weeks of registration, we got the alliance of Mr. Suresh, who had a principle of giving life to a girl like me. I was fasting every week for Santoshi Mata. It’s only because of her blessing that I was able to get a good alliance.
Though we got a handful of matching lists from Kalyanamalai, we found Suresh to be the most suitable one. Suresh was also a registered member of KM Matrimony. We all liked his profile. I feel that it’s all because of the virtuous deeds of my earlier ‘Janma’ I got a good husband like Suresh. It’s the first marriage for him. We are extremely happy about him. He is full of love& compassion, simple and humble. I am really lucky to have Suresh as my husband.
Our wedding took place during June in Guruvayur. “I diverted my mind to spirituality. I didn’t believe in marriage. But my parents and brother infused confidence in me. If I am married for the second time today, its only because of my parents and brother who advertised my profile in Kalyanamalai. I wish Kalyanamalai from the in depth of my heart a thousand years of healthy life binding more minds like that of mine with Suresh”.
